1. Getting my new ship out of Low-Sec - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Thanks for the offer to help, Dirk. I ended up deciding that the extra few % to turning faster wasn't going to make much of a difference and to go ahead and just do it. -Sasori

2. Getting my new ship out of Low-Sec - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Yay I got my ship out of Low-Sec! Thanks for all the tips and honest offers of help :) Low sec was for the most part inactive, I saw about 5-10 players in local, but only "saw" 1 ship. So, I guess I was a bit overly concerned, but then again, in...

4. Getting my new ship out of Low-Sec - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I have actually considered selling it and then repurchasing one in High Sec. As I said I think I can get there ok. It'll cost almost as much to purchase the neccessary skills to remote sell it than to buy a new one so I would need to get down ther...

6. Getting my new ship out of Low-Sec - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I have an oldish account but mentally I think I'm a permanent newb. I bought a new battlecruiser but didn't check where the selling location was before I bought. So now I have my new ship out in 0.1 space. I will need to through 1 0.1 space and I...

7. Changing In-Game Time - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Quote: Edit: After posting this, I also noticed that my character avatar is just an exclamation mark. How do I get my character's pic on there instead? I've been waiting almost a month for my pic to show up... I've heard it can take as l...

8. Very New, couple quick ?'s - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Nothing wrong with your approach. I used 2 standard missle launchers with light missles. I never had a problem hitting stuff that got "too close" plus I could help insure they didn't get too close. Train up targeting so you can have more ships tar...

9. Is there a way to avoid warp disruption? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I don't think so, best you can do is get a microwarp drive. They allow you to travel very fast, but take a lot of capacitor power. So as long as you get going before they nos you, you should be fine. -Sasori

10. System security level clarification - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: Sasori Stargazer on 01/04/2007 14:39:36 Also note, that the map view gives you a more precise number (0.456 ect..) however when you go over, the game rounds it to 1 decimal place so it'll be 0.5 space where it says current location....

11. Autopilot warp 15k? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
A good trick I've learned from these boards is to set your destination, but don't autopilot, right click on the screen and manually warp to the first star gate. While in warp turn ON the auto pilot. When you come out of warp you will almost instan...

12. A few things - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Some players have been saying deleting all the files in the cache directory helped them with this problem. If that doesn't work, you could try reinstalling the game entirely. It wasn't that large if I remember correctly, especially if you still ha...

13. Losing your target - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Thank you :) I was hoping that was the case. I like the new area I am in, I can sell my mining for a higher price than my old area. My corp leader got on and I found out we are a war with the person who attacked me, so at least I know it wasn't ra...

14. Losing your target - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Great! Thank you so much! Next question: If I'm Caldari and I happen to be in the Gallente Federation (don't ask, I think I was drunk when I moved my base of operations there) and someone attacks me (0.9 space) will concorde attack the agressor? ...

15. Losing your target - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I was just jumped while mining, but I have missle launchers, so I targeted the player attacking me. I wasn't doing great, but at least I was able to retaliate. But then I lost my target, and couldn't get the person back on target. I assume they ha...
